Rustic Glamour Reveal!
I am SOOO excited about this reveal! Remember this post? Well, today I had the opportunity to view the finished product for the first time and I LOVE IT. I mean, really really love it. As a reminder, here was the design plan:
The space before:
And the space after:
With most clients, I create the plan and also oversee the finished product. In this case, I just provided the plan and overall direction, and my client took it and ran executing every detail flawlessly.
A few things to point out:
- The dining room is painted a darker gray and that same color was carried into the foyer. We did this to create a bit of drama and set the dining room off as its own space.
- We tried to use as much of the existing furniture as possible. My client tried the vinyl spray paint (discussed in the original post) on an inconspicuous spot of her red chair, but decided she could use the red chairs in another room so went with the adorable nailhead club chairs.
- Did you see that amazing dining room table? Well, that is the original table with three coats of Annie Sloan chalk paint. Here's a closer look, but the picture does not even do it justice.
Way to go, BS! Oh, and feel free to invite me over anytime to hang out in this beautiful room. ;)
So, what does everyone else think? Did we accomplish rustic glamour?
