Our Favorite Place With Our Favorite People
Last week and the week prior we had friends visiting which was so fun! We love sharing our favorite sites with others, and witnessing their reactions always takes me back to our first time visiting these breathtaking spots. God’s creations are truly remarkable and this island is filled with them.

Thomas showing our other friends the trail map at Leon Levy Nature Preserve (it was the little guy’s 3rd birthday and he rocked that Batman outfit for our entire hike)!

The sunsets have been incredible. While watching the sun go down one evening we noticed a satellite launch. It was the SpaceX Maxar 3 mission launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Tom and I have started to settle into a routine with work and the kids with school. We’ve met a lot of great new people and the kids have been spending their free time doing activities such as jiu jitsu, sailing, water skiing, paddle boarding, pickle ball, running, snorkeling and soccer. Tom and I plan to start learning to sail with the kids and we’ve been easing our way back into the water skis (no more fighting the fall for me). The weather has been absolutely beautiful the past two weeks with upper 70’s and sunny skies, and my obsession with dolphins is growing by the day. Last Friday evening they were right out our backdoor and when we were on a family paddle ride Sunday morning, there were three within 6’ of my board. They are seriously the most beautiful creatures!
