ALI MARTEN
OWNER/ PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio - Ali Marten moved to Indianapolis in 2007 so her husband Tom could work for his family’s construction company. Despite knowing from a very young age that design was her calling, she opted to study Business in college and spent the first 10 years of her career working for Fortune 500 companies in Product Management and Consumer Marketing. During this time, Ali and Tom also renovated five homes which is where she gained valuable hands-on design experience, while learning the ins and outs of construction. However, it wasn’t until having her first child that Ali decided it was time to hang up her corporate hat and pursue her passion for design. She never dreamed her passion would lead to such a fulfilling career, but she’s beyond thankful it has.
Ali prides herself on maintaining a practical approach to design and loves working through project challenges such as complicated layouts, complex renovations and historic properties.
When she’s not designing, Ali enjoys spending time with Tom and their kids Lucia and Thomas, running, reading, cooking and traveling (beaches preferred).

MELISSA McDERMOTT

Melissa received her Fine Arts degree in Painting from IU Herron School of Art & Design. While working for a local material supplier, Melissa fell in love with interior design. Her artistic eye, attention to detail and knowledge of building products make her a great asset to the team. In her free time, Melissa loves reading, hiking and spending quality time with her partner and dogs.
ABBIE SPAHN
OFFICE MANAGER
Abbie is originally from Minnesota and moved to Indianapolis in 2014 after marrying her husband, Kevin. She is a self-proclaimed extrovert who enjoys socializing, being outdoors, and cooking. Abbie and Kevin have two young children so in her limited free time, she likes to look through her favorite cookbooks and order take-out instead of grocery shopping, cooking, or cleaning thrown food off the floor.
