I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I have been looking for small inexpensive pieces to finish off our guest room (which you can read more about here) and have had my eye on this adorable side table from Target for a few months. 




A few weeks ago as I was running around trying to find a few last minute items for the home tour when I saw this guy sitting all by his lonesome on an endcap. I ALMOST walked right on by, but the placement seemed so odd it peaked my interest. 

When I picked it up I noticed the glorious orange CLEARANCE tag smacked right on top. It was marked down from $59 to $29! Those of you who shop at Target know, that is a HUGE markdown for them. I inspected it and everything checked out fine. I'm pretty sure it was just a return that was stuck back on the shelf because when I walked around the corner, there were a few others still available for full price! This little table makes me so happy and pairs perfectly with the retro yellow loveseat.



This room is finally shaping up....just in time for us to convert it to a nursery. :)

I also found these simple sunburst mirrors at Garden Ridge for less than $20 each!  This space will double as a guest room even once it's a nursery so the mirrors  are intentionally hung a bit high to leave room for the headboard I plan to add in the near future.
