Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mom's out there! I am excited to announce the winner of the Mother's Day Room Design Giveaway.
Congrats to Bridget who nominated her wonderful Dad, Jim. Below is Bridget's nomination:
Hey Ali!
So this goes against the rules because the person I would like to nominate is not my mother... or even a woman. BUT, he has played the role of mother and father for the past 13 years, so I thought I'd at least try :) My dad's living room is in major need of a makeover. He lives in an older house with a layout similar to your previous house. He has been in the house for about 7 years and did some major renovations when he moved in, but this room has definitely been neglected. Although he is currently a bachelor, he has 7 (soon to be 8) grandkids and wants something that looks good but is also functional and kid-friendly. Besides the fact that he's one of the most supportive, fun, and loving guys I know, he also survived raising 3 girls on his own (ages 15, 18, and 22) when my mom passed away. That alone proves him worthy of a room makeover. :)
Looking forward to creating a sophisticated, yet kid friendly space for Jim. Thanks for participating, Bridget!
